The university race, in the university.

Tuesday, June 9, 2026,  starting at 9:00 PM, a mixed team competition for students and employees of the University of Pavia will take place.

To participate, you must register your team by Monday, June 4th at this link

Participation is free.

At the end of the race there will be a refreshment point offered by the sponsor Carrefour

PLAN

8:00 PM – Competitors will meet at the Cortile Teresiano where they will receive race cards, starting order, and a map of the course.
9:00 PM –Team 1 will start from the Cortile Teresiano (approximately 2,000 m long). Departures will occur every 1 minute and 30 sec.

 

AFTER THE ARRIVAL OF THE LAST TEAM, THE RANKINGS WILL BE COMPLETED AND THE AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN

UNIVERSITYRUN 2026 REGULATIONS

ART.1

CUS Pavia, in collaboration with the University of Pavia and the patronage of the Municipality of Pavia, announces and organizes a team running event on June 9, 2026 called ” UNIVERSITYRUN 2026 “

ART. 2 –   REGISTRATION

Each team must consist of two (2) female and two (2) male athletes. Participants must be students or employees of the University of Pavia. Registration is free and can only be done online at this link by June 4, 2026.

ART. 3 – ROUTE

The race route (approximately 2000 metres) will run near and inside the Central University, starting and finishing in the Cortile Teresiano.

ART. 4 – MEETING POINT

The competitors’ meeting point is scheduled for June 9th at 8:00 PM in the Cortile Teresiano, where the starting order of the teams will be announced. In the meeting area, upon confirmation of attendance, each participant will be given a race number and a timing chip. A cash deposit of €20 per team will be required , which will be refunded at the end of the race upon return of all team chips .

ART. 5 – DEPARTURE

Each team must report to the competitor’s representative at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
The first team to compete will depart at 9:00 PM.
The race will be a timed start, with teams starting 1 minute and 30 seconds apart. The starting order will be announced at the competitor meeting point.

ART. 6 – ARRIVAL

Upon arrival, the time taken by each team member will be recorded; for the ranking purposes, only the fastest time of the four competitors in each team will be considered.

ART. 7 – RANKING

The final race standings will be displayed in the Cortile Teresiano at the end of the race. The three teams with the best times will receive awards.
